OPTIO NEXT LAW is a partner firm that has reached an agreement with Tornos Abogados. Anna Gonzalez is Senior Associate at OPTIO NEXT LAW. She specializes in tax consultancy for medium-size companies, individuals and family groups.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s Degree in Taxation and Tax Advisory from the Centro de Estudios Financieros and a postgraduate course in Tax Law from the University of Barcelona.
She has extensive experience in business restructuring, family businesses and real state taxation in the field of indirect taxation, VAT and stamp duty. Structuring of property investments and divestments. Follow-up of fiscal verification and inspection procedures and negotiations with the Spanish Tax Authorities. Submission and follow-up of appeals before the Tax bodies, Tax Inspection and Economic-Administrative Courts. Submission and follow-up of contentious-administrative procedures.
Before joining OPTIO Next Law, she was a member of the Corporate Tax Advisory team at the Barcelona office of EY Abogados, where she exercised as a lawyer for eight years. Formerly, she was a lawyer in the Tax Department of the law firms Fornesa-Prada-Fernández (now Augusta Abogados) and Jausas (now Fieldfisher/Jausas).
