María Tornos de Gispert is a lawyer expert in criminal law (Criminal Compliance). She holds a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona (UB) and a master in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences (UB-UPF). She has the specialization in Corporate Compliance and she did a Course at ESADE and a Postgraduate in Compliance at UPF Barcelona School of Management.
She is a collaborating professor of Criminal Law at the UB, collaborating professor in the Postgraduate in Economic Criminal Law and Compliance at the Abat Oliba University and collaborating professor in the Postgraduate Course on Cybercrime and Compliance at the International University of Catalonia.
Former Secretary of the Criminal Law Section and Member of the Compliance Section of the Culture Committee of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB). Compliance Officer in a private Foundation and 1st Vice-President of the Board of Directors of COMPCAT-Catalan Association of Compliance.
